I feel energized about my work and it makes me want to do more. It was my first festival and I was just excited to be there. To win the award for Best Comedy Short was the cherry on the sundae. It was cool to talk to other filmmakers such as yourself and feel that I'm not alone in my journey. That our passion for telling stories can be seen in the end product up there on the screen. I'm extremely glad that I took the chance and entered in the festival. I'm even more glad that I was able to be there amongst all the talented individuals in the room and feel like I belonged.
